Cruise ship drug case : Why Aryan Khan is in under threat?
A major revelation has emerged in Bollywood's most controversial cruise ship drug case, Indian news website Hindustan Times has claimed, citing sources, that the Narcotics Control Bureau's (NCB) special investigation team Has found no evidence to suggest that Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was part of a larger drug conspiracy or part of an international drug trafficking syndicate. A number of irregularities were also found in the raid.
The probe team was formed by Cabinet Minister Nawab Malik following allegations leveled against NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede.
1) Aryan Khan had never taken drugs, so there was no need to pick up his phone and check his chat.
2) The talks did not reveal that the Aryans were part of an international drug syndicate.
3) Contrary to the NCB constitution, the video of the raid was not recorded.
4) Drugs recovered from several accused arrested in the case have been shown as simultaneous confiscation.
5) Aryan never asked his friend Arbaaz Merchant to bring drugs on a cruise.
It
is to be noted that the SIT investigation is yet to be completed and it
may take a few months for NCB Director General SN Pardhan to submit his
final report. Legal opinion will be sought before submitting the final
report, especially on whether Aryan Khan can be charged with conspiracy.
But also raised questions. Wankhede has been removed from the NCB and
sent back to his parent cadre, DRI. During the investigation, the SIT
team has recorded Wankhede's statement several times.
It may be
recalled that Sameer Wankhede along with his team raided the
International Cruise Terminal at Green Gate, Mumbai on the night of
October 2, 2021. The NCB recovered 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of
mephedrone, 21 grams of cannabis, 22 tablets of MDMA (Ecstasy) and Rs
1.33 lakh in cash. The investigation revealed that the agency arrested
14 people from the cruise and after several hours of interrogation,
Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Manman Dhamicha were arrested on the
afternoon of October 3. Since then, 17 more people have been arrested in
connection with the case. The NCB report did not mention any conspiracy
or drug use.
It should be noted that Aryan Khan is the son of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan and other Muslim actors have been harassed from time to time in India. This too seems to be an attempt by Indian extremists and the government. In fact, support has increased in India, this case has made Aryan Khan a hero instead of a criminal
